Very motivating

You know, before I get into the nitty-gritty of this book, I just remembered that I had a primer in school with the title Never Give Up-of course, this was just another one of those "readers"-the title had nothing to do with the content. Anyway, what is in store for the reader is a collection of stories from a variety of self-made entrepreneurs and company owners, all containing anecdotes about success, all of which can revive the flagging faith we carry that we'll ever get to our dream destination, however we define it.
One quote I observed, I remember seeing somewhere that Vidal Sassoon is credited with: "Only in the dictionary does success come before work". I liked that one to the point of using it for a motivational poster I made once. And you'd be surrised to see how many of the people mentioned all started out shoveling snow, delivering papers, and generally building on their longtime hobbies and interests.
This is one of those books that can give you a much-needed kick in the pants; as it can be easier to see our destination when we learn that others before us blazed trails that started off with roadblocks or detours.

Exceptional Collection of Interviews

This is a fabulous collection of interviews with professionals from diverse types of businesses. Entrepreneurs and business leaders offer their perspectives and advice on how to achieve success. The author asks basic, but to me, tough to answer questions. My favorite answers are to the question: ‘Did you always know you’d be successful?’ The answers are thoughtful and fascinating. It really helps the reader seat him/herself in the mindset of an accomplished individual. There are a variety of voices here from women to people of color who shed light on the highs and lows of their career. This is a well conceived and compiled book. It will help motivate you and help you gain insight. Never give up!
